2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (CEB)

So then, if anyone is in Christ, that person is part of the new creation. The old things have gone away, and look, new things have arrived! All of these new things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and who gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

Hapeville First United Methodist Church is a welcoming, inclusive congregation called to the ministry of reconciliation - that is bringing others into the church and into a saving relationship with God. We embrace as a gift the richness found in the diversity of our church, our community and the world. We recognize and celebrate the diversity of the Family of God in age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, faith history, economic status, marital status, physical and mental ability and education. We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and as beloved children of God, are all worthy of God's love and grace.

Hapeville First UMC welcomes the full inclusion of all people into the life and ministries of our church and invites all people to join us in our faith journey toward greater love, understanding and mutual respect.

We are pleased to be a part of the Reconciling Ministries Network
